How It All Started...
Born in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, Brad Dassey has been fascinated with music since his early childhood days. Brad's father, Pete would put records on and they would talk over intros of songs to pretend to be radio DJ's. As a child, Brad was taught how to play chords by his grandmother, Marlene Glysch of Two Rivers on her double panel Organ. It's quite a lengthy and complicated process, but Brad Dassey writes his own lyrics, composes his own instrumental music tracks, mixes & masters all of his own music. Brad has been playing the keyboard since age 8 and really started making his own music at the age of 15.
Brad mainly uses Fruity Loops Producer Edition from Image Line to produce his original music with his Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S49 MIDI keyboard. Brad uses Ableton Live to achieve the final touches on mixing his songs. Sony Acid Music Studio, which was bought out by Magix in 2016 is best used for recording vocals to his tracks.
